“One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.” – Carl Jung
Change begins within each of us, but where do we take further steps in our evolution and how do we see our vision through?
In designing our internal landscape, we must take a journey through our inner terrain. This experiential workshop combines theory and practice to grow deeper connections with one’s Self, one another, and the natural world.
Foundational principles of personal development are synthesized with regenerative design, eastern spiritual philosophy, and the pragmatism of western science. This combination creates a conceptual framework that offers an opportunity to transform personal clarity and spiritual insights into tangible results.
At the age of 24, a single mystical experience changed Ian’s life forever. The subsequent journey of recovery and self-discovery led him to an insight: the only way out is in. This single philosophy guides his life and work.
Ian founded Still Point Insight to help mission-driven organizations scale solutions to global challenges. He is the author of Soil & Spirit: Seeds of Purpose, Nature’s Insight & the Deep Work of Transformational Change. The book has been featured in Forbes, and been compared to seminal works such as The Four Agreements and Braiding Sweetgrass.
Ian cherishes time with his wife. When needed, he blows off steam by running long distances, enduring mind-body practices, and disappearing into the boreal forests of Minnesota.
